3 Freebies and a Giveaway- Days 7, 8, and 9

Is it just me or did this weekend go by super quick? I can't believe that tomorrow is ALREADY MONDAY! AHHH!!! Tonight, I have to finish an assignment for my last gifted class, work on my Reading Group Powerpoint Presentation for a workshop I am holding for my K, 1, and 2 teachers on Wednesday afternoon, and make 2 batches of my Overnight Blueberry French Toast (my family's Christmas Brunch favorite, yummo) for our school's "10 days of Gluttony". (I'll take pictures of it tomorrow morning and post it for you all to see.)

I'm sorry I haven't been around the past few days. I promise I am on track now. Since my last post, I went to the Scholastic Books Warehouse Sale in my area and scored some awesome books. Here are some pics of what I bought.

I was able to score about 98% of these books at 50% off. Woohoo! Several of them are even hardcover. A few I bought for my daughter, but majority of them will be going into my unit boxes. Besides the sale, we also had dance class, christmas pictures, and my dad's 60th Birthday Party yesterday! What did you all do this weekend?

Now onto the Freebies and Giveaway! Remember to Click on the first picture as they are only available for 24 hours! Then they will be available for purchase in my TPT store the next day.

Day 7:
I created a Emergent Reader using Christmas Lights and color words. Your students can practice writing the color words and identifying them.

Day 8:

Syllable Sorting Literacy Activity: Students use the Holiday themed cards and mats to sort the syllables in the words on the cards. A worksheet is included for assessment.

Day 9:
Winter Handwriting Freebie: This is a freebie from my Winter Handwriting Packet. This is also the item that I will be giving away to one lucky follower in my giveaway.

Good Luck to everyone! Don't forget to leave some love!

  4. I LOVE THE SCHOLASTIC WAREHOUSE SALES!! They are my favorite things in the entire world. The discounts you receive on books and how you can volunteer (each hour is $10.00 towards books... half the time, you're sitting around) and then buy more books. What a great thing for teachers, administrators, and parents! :) Looks like you walked away with a great haul!

  11. Cindy- I could have bought more, which I think would have freaked Brett out. Haha! I told several of the teachers at my school and they got different books that I didn't see. They are really good and make me want to go back for more.
