My Little Twinkle Toes

So today was my little ones first day of dance class. She was very excited and couldn't wait to put on her new leotard and dance shoes. When we got there she was acting very shy, which is totally not normal for her. She usually says hello to everyone and blows them kisses. She clung to my legs while we waited for her teacher to come get them. There was another little girl from her class waiting with us who quickly came over to play with her. She was still acting shy but then started to warm up. Her teacher came to get them and they went to their classroom. We aren't allowed in the rooms and can sit in the parent room and view them on the TV. Let me tell you, I don't know how her teacher does it, but I would definitely need a nap after teaching that class. There are only 4 girls in her class because of the summer and she was constantly chasing after one of them. We were all laughing at them in the parent room. B was so funny. At first, she didn't know what to do but then realized that she needed to listen. Watching them try to hop was the cutest thing. Hopefully next time I will be able to get better pictures. Here are a few from after the class today.

B waving to everyone as they were leaving.

B playing with the dinosaurs for the brothers that wait.

B giving me the "enough with the pictures" mom look.

I did get some pictures with the other girls in her class, which are darling but I won't be posting them on here since I'm sure the parents might not like it. Anyways, enough of me babbling on about B's First Dance class. I just had to share with you all.

In other news, I am almost to 100 followers. Yippee! Which means that I will be having a giveaway once I reach it. I have been creating new things and can't wait to share. Don't forget to stop by my co-worker, Lori's blog (Teaching with Love and Laughter), who is having a 500 follower giveaway. I have donated my new, improved "Pop! Sight Word Game" which has 6 different levels for differentiation. You can also purchase it in my TPT store.
